Job Tittle: Internal Auditor – ISO 17025
Location: York
Salary: Up to £32,000
Contract: 3–6 Month Temp (potential to go perm)
We’re looking for an experienced Internal Auditor (ISO 17025) to join our team in York. This role is key to ensuring compliance with ISO/IEC 17025, supporting continual improvement, and preparing the lab for external assessments.
What you’ll do:
* Plan, conduct, and report internal audits across management systems and technical activities.
* Verify compliance with ISO 17025 and laboratory procedures.
* Identify nonconformities and recommend process improvements.
* Support teams with corrective actions and follow-up.
What we’re looking for:
✔️ Formal training in internal auditing (ISO 17025, ISO 9001, or equivalent)
✔️ Minimum 2 years’ experience auditing within an ISO 17025 laboratory
✔️ Strong knowledge of laboratory quality systems
