Job Description
As a Finance Assistant, you will be responsible for overseeing and supporting the finance process.
Ideal Candidate
Essential:
* Accountable for invoicing and payroll including billing hours and expenses
* Process invoice and follow up as appropriate with clients and suppliers
* Reconciliation of bank statements and ensuring all calculations and data entries are correct
* Assist in creating regular financial reports to support understanding of business performance
* Respond to finance enquiries providing support to stakeholders, third parties and clients as needed
* Ensure compliance with Home Instead’s Equality, Diversity & Equal Opportunities Policy across employment and service delivery
Desirable:
* AAT or ACCA qualification is desirable
* Proven experience of working in a finance environment
* Knowledge of fiancé and accounts including Accounts Receivable, Credit Control or Accounts Payable
* Experience of an accounting package (i.e. Xero)
* Strong organisation skills and the ability to multitask
* Self-motivated with excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work under pressure with excellent attention to detail
* Ability to be a team player or stand alone
