Key Responsibilities
1. Utilise workshop resources to meet financial and operational targets without compromising quality, ensuring the highest customer experience.
2. Maintain effective communication between the Workshop and Front of House teams to deliver excellent service.
3. Lead, coach, and develop the Workshop team to improve performance, conduct regular reviews and team meetings.
4. Manage resources effectively, oversee workflow to maximise productivity, efficiency, and utilisation.
5. Ensure Health and Safety standards are maintained to provide a safe, clean working environment.
6. Promote a high-performance team culture of excellence.
Qualifications
1. Experience in a main-dealer workshop, current Workshop Controller or Assistant Manager role.
2. Strong understanding of technical requirements for managing a team of technicians.
3. Customer-centric approach, committed to exceeding customer expectations.
4. NVQ Level 3 in Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair is advantageous but not essential.
5. Excellent organisational skills with a logical, methodical approach.
6. Strong communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
7. Valid driving licence with no excessive penalties.
