Connect Appointments have a new opportunity for an experienced Forklift Driver to join our prestigious Broxburn based manufacturing client. What's on offer? Monday to Friday, 6am to 2pm (early Friday finish) 13.76 per hour - paid weekly 4% shift allowance applied after 12-weeks (14.31 p/hour) Working as a Forklift Driver you will be responsible for moving goods, loaded pallets and equipment safely and securely. Your duties will include: Manoeuvring forklifts safely in busy industrial environments Safely stacking and unstacking large quantities of goods onto shelves or pallets Moving goods from storage areas to loading areas for transport Unloading deliveries and safely relocating the goods to their designated storage areas Ensuring forklift driving areas are free from spills or obstructions Regularly checking forklift equipment for faults or damages Consolidating partial pallets for incoming goods To be successful in this position you will have a valid external counterbalance FLT license. Combined with the following skills, traits and experience: Previous experience in operating a Double-Handler and/or an Aislemaster is desirable but not essential Previous experience in the drinks industry (preferred but not essential) Excellent spatial awareness and attention to detail The ability to work well in a team, and on your own able to follow both written and verbal instructions Interested?
