Engineering Project Manager – 12‑month contract with Line‑Up, 12 months, £40 per hour via Umbrella, Monday‑Friday, 35 hrs, Filton, inside IR35, BPSS clearance.
Responsibilities
* Manage UK work packages end‑to‑end, meeting time, cost, and quality targets.
* Apply classical project management tools and methods with high autonomy and energy.
* Integrate and coordinate across Programme, Engineering, Design Office, Airworthiness, Procurement, and Customer Services.
* Manage partners and subcontractors, including contracts, tenders, work allocation, deliverables, and quality oversight.
* Lead project cost management: create budgets, manage forecasts, track bookings, deliver AOP objectives for ATA28, ATA32, and ATA57.
* Present to stakeholders, including within A300/A310 programme review forums.
* Facilitate cross‑functional communication and maintain effective programme communication.
* Provide proactive progress reporting and resolve/escalate issues across multi‑disciplinary teams.
Essential Skills and Experience
* Proven experience in projects and programme management.
* Experience in Fuel Systems and Wing Structure preferred.
* Strong communication, people management, reporting, problem‑solving and analytical thinking.
* Self‑motivated, independent, energetic.
* Budget control and delivery to time, cost, and quality.
* Knowledge of configuration management tools and processes.
* Proven ability to manage suppliers, partners and subcontractors.
* Airbus Bronze Project Management accreditation or equivalent desirable.
* Experience managing projects through the full project lifecycle.
* Strong team player, ability to influence and lead multi‑functional teams.
