We are looking for an experienced Soft Services Manager to manage the operations of site-based cleaning and security operatives. Responsibilities include staff inductions and training, liaising with recruitment agencies, completing on‑boarding paperwork, ensuring service delivery on site, continuous improvements, risk assessments, health & safety compliance, and monitoring the use of chemicals and materials.
Responsibilities
* Manage staff inductions and training.
* Liaise with recruitment agencies and complete onboarding paperwork.
* Deliver service on site and implement continuous improvements.
* Complete tasks, risk assessments and ensure compliance for all operatives.
* Apply Mitie’s Health & Safety procedures and encourage safe working practices.
* Monitor the use of chemicals and materials in Touch Point Cleaning (TPC) roles.
Qualifications
* Previous operations role essential.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to adapt to diverse stakeholders.
* Solutions oriented with ability to provide explanations and proposed solutions.
* Proficient management skills and use of IT systems (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
* Organised, multi‑tasking, prioritise and manage competing demands.
* Strong respect for confidentiality.
