Job Role: Senior Electronics Engineer\nLocation: Wembley or Dorset\nHybrid – 2-3 days a week onsite\nJob Type: Full-Time, Permanent\nRole Overview:\nWe are seeking an Electronics Engineer with hands-on experience in analogue or digital design. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and optimising electronic systems for defence maritime applications, from initial design through to integration and in-service support.\nKey Responsibilities:\n * Develop both analogue and digital electronic systems, including circuit design, PCB layout, and firmware integration.\n * Perform system-level testing and troubleshooting of electronics, ensuring reliability and performance standards are met.\n * Work closely with cross-functional teams (mechanical, software, systems engineering) to integrate electronic solutions into broader systems.\n * Produce technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and reports.\nExperience:\n * Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.\n * Electronics design, with experience in analogue, digital or mixed signal\n * Experience with circuit design and PCB layout\n * Familiarity with CAD tools\n * CADSTAR experience is preferable but not essential\n * Good problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset\n * Openness to learn and adapt — we’re flexible on experience level\nBenefits\n * Flexible work arrangements\n * Early Friday finishes, time-off-in-lieu, and annual bonuses.\n * Holiday buy/sell and Christmas shutdown.\n * Comprehensive pension scheme\n * Health, dental, and critical illness plans.\n * Discounts, life insurance, and a reward hub\nPlease note that this role requires eligibility for SC clearance
