We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Capital Business Partner to join our team based nationally with flexible working. The salary on offer is from £75,000 with eligibility for our annual 10% bonus.
About the role:
The Senior Capital Business Partner is a strategic advisor to senior leaders and their team within the Estates Delivery team and is pivotal in guiding and driving strategic decision making and financial performance across the capital investment portfolio. As a partner their role is key in ensuring robust financial planning, governance and value-for-money delivery of capital programmes that are in line with the organisations long-term strategic plan.
What you will bring to the role:
* Partner with Estates Delivery leadership to shape and deliver capital investment strategies that align with NHSPS's long-term plans.
* Lead the development of multi-year capital budgets and integrate them into CDEL frameworks to optimise resource allocation.
* Support the financial appraisal of business cases for investment, divestment, and strategic programmes, ensuring value-for-money and strategic fit.
* Oversee financial planning, forecasting, and reporting for capital projects, managing risks, opportunities, and governance.
* Deliver high-quality financial analysis across monthly, quarterly, and annual cycles to support performance monitoring and strategic decisions.
* Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, offering financial insight and challenge to enable informed investment choices.
* Ensure consistent application of financial policies and compliance with accounting standards, collaborating with Corporate Finance and Financial Control.
* Champion improvements in financial processes, forecasting accuracy, and data-driven decision-making, promoting financial literacy and operational efficiency across capital programmes.
