Joining us as a Mechanical & Electrical Engineer - 6 month FTC As part of our continued growth through acquisitions, we’re expanding our engineering team to ensure seamless integration of newly acquired infrastructure. You’ll play a key role in onboarding third-party assets—such as Fibre Exchanges, Active Cabinets, and Colocation sites—ensuring they meet our high standards for compliance, security, and operational excellence. This is some of what you can expect to be doing: Auditing and testing of acquired infrastructure including FEX/PoP, FAC, and colocation sites Preparing detailed Integration Plans including scope, budget, and delivery timelines Managing onboarding with the Network Operations Centre (NOC) Overseeing site updates in the Asset Management Solution Coordinating with supply partners to deliver integration works Managing key vendor relationships and ensuring compliance with CityFibre standards What you’ll bring to the role You’re a self-motivated engineer with strong communication skills and a passion for high-quality infrastructure integration. You’ll also have: 18th Edition BS7671 certification (essential) Experience in vendor management and infrastructure auditing Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical datacentre design and operation Familiarity with regulatory compliance and asset management systems Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging We’re a Times Top 50 Employer for Gender Equality.
