Your Role and Responsibilities
As our Teacher of Maths with a KS5 focus, you will:

Plan and deliver engaging, challenging, and rigorous Maths lessons across Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4 (GCSE), and predominantly Key Stage 5 (A-Level).

Specialise in teaching A-Level Pure Maths, Mechanics, and/or Statistics, guiding students to achieve exceptional results.
*
Inspire a deep appreciation for the beauty and power of mathematics, fostering advanced problem-solving skills and logical reasoning.
*
Provide meticulous assessment and constructive feedback, contributing to student reports and university applications.
*
Actively contribute to the development of our A-Level Maths curriculum and resources.
*
Participate in and lead extracurricular maths activities, such as maths challenges, masterclasses, or university preparation sessions.

Act as a form tutor and contribute positively to the wider life of our school community.
What We're Looking For

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a strong academic background in Mathematics (e.g., a good honours degree).

Substantial and successful experience teaching A-Level Mathematics (Pure Maths, Mechanics, Statistics) is essential.

Proven experience teaching GCSE Mathematics to a high standard.

A genuine passion for teaching and inspiring students at the highest level of secondary mathematics.
