Role Description
The role of the Prescription Coordinator is onsite at our Reading office and sits within the operations team. The role requires a dynamic and patient-centric individual who wants to help Montu patients and clinicians get the best out of the service. The candidate will be part of the UK founding team and help establish the operations and patient-facing team:
Responsibilities will include but not be restricted to:
1. Answering patient queries by telephone and email
2. Maintain patients’ electronic health records
3. Maintaining full and accurate record of prescriptions
4. Work closely with the pharmacy and clinical teams to ensure smooth dispensing and delivery of medication to patients
5. Updating patients with any changes in their prescription
6. Working with partner pharmacies to ensure prescriptions sent externally are delivered and dispensed correctly
7. Support operational and clinical recruitment and onboarding
8. Collate feedback and liaise with Head of Governance on complaints and compliments
9. Report incidents and significant events and liaise with Head of Governance on incidents and significant events
10. Support clinicians working in the service with operational queries
11. Liaise with product and tech support team on technical issues
12. Work closely with line manager and wider team on service improvement
13. Attend work related meetings as required
14. To maintain all mandatory training and familiarity with company policies and SOPs
15. Shift-based and flexible working may be required from time to time
Skills, Experience, and Qualification:
1. 2 plus years of work experience
2. Working in a healthcare environment advantageous but not essential
3. Excellent attention to detail
4. Good understanding of working in a highly regulated industry and following policies and SOPs
5. High level of IT proficiency
6. Ability to work under pressure
