MORSON INT - INTEGRATION ENGINEER - WARTON - 6 MONTH CONTRACT Location: Warton - United Kingdom Duration: 6 month contractPay rate: £35.00 per hour LTD IntroductionWorking within the Combat Air Support Weapon System Integration Team an exciting and challenging opportunity has arisen working in support of the Combat Air Support Engineering Director\\\'s office to maintain the efficiency of the supporting Technical Management and Governance infrastructure.An ideal candidate would have spent time in a variety of engineering roles with demonstrable support solution, systems engineering, and information management and/or with relevant engineering governance experience. Experience of Engineering/Support Engineering Integration and Information Management or equivalent experience. Ability to influence others manages through negotiation rather than direct control. Ability to self - manage activities to an agreed programme with fixed milestones and deliverables. Strong interpersonal and negotiating skills. Strong Systems Engineering background and coupled with a broader knowledge of the relationship with Enterprise Engineering. Experienced in solving challenging Engineering Process Issues with Senior Engineers. RoleThe role may contain, but will not be limited to the following:Maintain the CAS Engineering Functional Governance Framework ensuring it reflects the organisational construct and associated roles, responsibilities and accountabilities.Support the CAS Engineering Authority and PTAs to discharge their functional obligations.Support the generation of CA Operational and Engineering Assurance declarations.Support the deployment of Engineering Policys across CAS.Provide support to Engineering Roles in interpreting and working in line with engineering policies and documentation content i.e. Engineering Management PlansProvide Engineering governance assurance guidance and direction to CAS project team members i.e. EGARS utilisationManage the delegation approvals process for appropriate CAS functional authorities in support of MAI/CA Engineering to ensure adequate coverage of the CAS Product range.Manage the Engineering element of LCMS to ensure it remains topical and all entries remain within governance boundaries.Identify and share good practice and knowledge to support continuous improvement of governance assurance activities i.e. derivation, deployment, communication, enactment with overarching aspiration to streamline where appropriate i.e. MAI/CA Level Governance CoP\\\'s.Co - ordinate applicable CAS Senior Engineering Reviews reporting requirements that continue to manage, govern and inform the business i.e. CAS Functional Review Meeting, Joint CAS APTechnical Review Meeting and out - turn of CAS escalation packs to higher level CA/MAI forums.Co - ordination of metrics and reporting packs in support of the above management reviews.
