We are seeking a passionate and skilled Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality, with a focus on food safety and kitchen management. As a Chef, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Head Chef in delivering exceptional dining experiences while supervising kitchen staff and ensuring the highest standards of food preparation and presentation.
Responsibilities
* Assist the Head Chef in planning and directing food preparation in the kitchen.
* Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations.
* Maintain food safety standards and ensure compliance with health regulations.
* Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to the restaurant's menu specifications.
* Help manage inventory, including ordering supplies and minimising waste.
* Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment.
* Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen at all times.
Experience
* Proven experience as a Chef in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
* Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety practices, and kitchen operations.
* Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in supervising and managing a team.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
* A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional dining experiences is essential.
