The role of Mobile Caretaker will include:
1. Damp and mould treatment in properties; this includes identifying, treating and then redecorating the affected area
2. Waste removal from across all our sites, generally this will be fly tipped waste but may include emptying void properties
3. Gutter cleaning using an extendable vacuum system so all work is carried out from ground level
4. Working with other Estates teams where needed
5. Ensuring Health and Safety protocols are followed
6. Ensure tools and equipment are maintained in good condition and used in line with policies and procedures
7. Using a smart phone to manage work and receive and record work tasks
Skills and experiences:
8. Knowledge of cleaning and caretaking, and an understanding of COSHH and Risk Assessments
9. Knowledge of how to use grounds machinery confidently and competently
10. Ability to use and update computerised systems (including PDA) for work scheduling
11. Working knowledge of Health and Safety legislation
12. Practical experience of carrying out risk assessments
13. This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence

24. £25,400 per annum (rising to £26,737 per annum after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance)
