Job Title: Labourer (Solar Roofing)
Location: Reading
Hours: Monday to Friday – 40 hours per week
Pay: £17.00 - £17.50 per hour (Umbrella/UTR, based on experience and qualifications)
Multitask Personnel are proud to be partnering with a leading property services provider delivering high-quality repairs, upgrades, and maintenance across housing contracts.
We are currently recruiting a Skilled Labourer on a temp to perm basis to support a Solar PV installation team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to grow their skills across multiple trades in a fast-developing sector like renewable energy.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with the installation of solar panels on domestic roofing systems
* Load, unload, and transport materials to and from sites
* Adhere to health and safety standards, ensuring safe working practices at all times
* Collaborate with the installation team to complete projects on time
* Maintain tools, equipment, and job site cleanliness
* Support with troubleshooting and resolving any installation issues
Requirements:
* Previous roofing experience is essential
* Experience in solar panel installation is preferred but not essential
* Comfortable working at heights and in varying weather conditions
* Physically fit with the ability to lift and move heavy materials
* Strong knowledge of health and safety in construction
* A valid CSCS card
* Must be able to pass a DBS check
