Bank Theatre Administrator | Competitive Hourly Rate | Flexible Working | Leeds – LS8
We have an exciting opportunity for a Theatre Administrator to join our theatre team in supporting with the administration duties on a flexible basis. This would suit if you are looking for that work/life balance and have flexibility.
This role would cover sickness/annual leave and support the department Monday – Friday – 8am – 5pm
Spire Leeds Hospital, located in Roundhay, Leeds, has been treating patients for almost 30 years. We are the region’s largest private hospital in terms of the range of services we offer and the number of consultants we work with. The hospital offers a range of services and facilities including four operating theatres, a sterile services department, a dedicated endoscopy suite, and a diagnostic and imaging department with an MRI and CT scanner. There are outpatient and physiotherapy departments providing services six days per week
Duties and responsibilities;
1. To communicate professionally with external and internal customers, maintaining confidentiality at all times via telephone calls and emails
2. To ensure patient charging is input accurately and in an appropriate time period
3. Processing surgeon and anaesthetist COBO fees on a timely basis
4. To input data onto daily KPI information and verify/challenge data where it appears incorrect
5. To challenge the Theatre Team where data appears incomplete or incorrect and to work with them in order to improve the quality of data recorded
6. Support Business Administration Team Leader to ensure financial processes and procedures are maintained to minimise billing errors
Who we're looking for
7. At least 3 Years office based experience ideally within a hospital environment
8. First class communication/interpersonal skills
9. Accurate keyboard skills/PC literate with experience of all aspects of Microsoft Office
10. A basic understanding of clinical terminology would be beneficial
