As a surveying apprentice you will be responsible for providing the HIA’s technical service, providing advice guidance and practical support liaising with clients and contractors in order to deliver adaptations and home improvements ensuring 100% customer satisfaction. Apprentice (Surveyor) Have an interest in helping to providing a good standard of living to residents in the County? Then this apprenticeship could be ideal for you. You will be responsible for carrying out initial feasibility studies to determine what adaptations would be possible- this would include liaising directly with occupational therapists to establish what adaptations would meet the clients assessed needs. You will be joining a well-established team of over fifteen staff, including more than six experienced Housing Surveyors. What qualification will I gain? You will study towards the Surveying Technician Level 3 standard with Hartlepool College. What will I need? You must either have or expect to achieve 2 GCSE’s grade 9-4/AC in English and Maths or an equivalent qualification, together with good communication and ICT skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
