This full-time, hybrid role-based role offers the flexibility of combining office and home working. You will be instrumental in producing detailed, accurate technical drawings and ensuring design integrity from concept through to manufacture and site installation. Day-to-day of the role: Take full ownership of design packages for architectural metal and glass systems, including balustrades, balconies, staircases, and bespoke metalwork. Produce detailed technical, construction, and fabrication drawings. Collaborate closely with clients during pre-construction and live project stages to align design objectives. Coordinate with project, fabrication, and installation teams throughout the project lifecycle. Maintain design integrity and ensure compliance with UK Building Regulations, fire safety, and relevant standards. Manage design and installation risks, proposing innovative and buildable solutions. Support technical submissions, respond to RFIs, and participate in design reviews. Attend design meetings, technical workshops, and site visits as required.
