Field Service Engineer - CNC Machine Tool OEM
Location: Field-based - North London & Northern Home Counties
Package: £50,000 - £60,000 + Company Vehicle + Bonuses + Full Benefits
We are seeking an apprentice-trained engineer for a dynamic field-based role with a world‑leading CNC machine tool OEM. This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting‑edge technology while supporting a wide range of manufacturers across the region.
Role Overview
* Breakdown & Maintenance: Diagnose faults, carry out repairs, and ensure smooth machine operation
* Installation & Commissioning: Install and optimise new equipment at customer sites
* Servicing & Repairs: Address mechanical and electrical issues with precision
* Customer Support & Training: Advise operators on correct use and maintenance best practices
* Ongoing Development: Participate in OEM‑led training, including international courses and exposure to the latest technologies

Candidate Requirements
* Qualified Engineer: Apprentice‑trained in mechanical, electrical, or multi‑skilled engineering
* CNC Experience: Hands‑on experience maintaining CNC machine tools is essential
* Driven & Adaptable: Motivated to learn and develop skills as technology evolves
* Flexible: Comfortable with travel and occasional overnight stays
* Licensed Driver: Full UK driving licence required
