Position: New Product Introduction (NPI) Engineer Consultant
Location: UK - Remote
Client: Biopharmaceutical
Type: Full-time - 6 months contract initially (possibility of extension or permanent)
Main Responsibilities
* Support product change management and handle non-conformance issues
* Prepare procurement documentation (business cases, work orders), raise purchase requests, and track orders to completion
* Coordinate and communicate with suppliers and contract manufacturing partners, including occasional on-site visits
* Ensure medical device documentation is complete in collaboration with quality teams and suppliers
* Provide regular updates on progress and activities to management
* Assist with additional tasks to support NPI project execution
Main Requirements
* 2–4 years’ experience in fast-paced medical device or pharmaceutical environments (ISO 13485 and/or 21 CFR Part 820); inhalation experience is a plus
* Degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related engineering field
* Strong ability to structure and clearly communicate complex issues
* Comfortable working in ambiguous situations and asking the right questions
* Practical application of technical knowledge in real-world scenarios
* Logical, pragmatic problem-solving approach
