Job summary
Sussex Community Dermatology Services (SCDS) is one of the largest independent providers of NHS dermatology services in the UK. We are seeking ambitious Consultant Dermatologists to join our team in the South-East of England. You will work alongside 23 consultants, providing expert care in diagnosing and managing dermatological conditions, including inflammatory skin diseases, skin cancer, and complex cases.
Our team is dedicated to delivering high-quality services while working collaboratively to address NHS waiting lists. This position offers a pay-per-patient model, rewarding your work directly.
Main duties of the job
* Deliver high-quality outpatient care to patients referred from primary and secondary care
* Assess and manage a wide range of dermatological conditions, including skin cancers and inflammatory diseases
* Participate in multidisciplinary teams and support junior clinicians

Sussex Community Dermatology Service (SCDS) and Kent Integrated Dermatology Services (KIDS) aim to triage dermatoses effectively, enabling a see-and-treat approach during initial appointments and reducing follow-ups. Our services include day surgery, minor procedures, dermoscopy, patch testing, photodynamic therapy, and phototherapy. We prioritize patient needs and wellbeing in all decisions.
We collaborate with NHS trusts and integrated care boards, delivering over 100,000 new patient consultations annually, including cancer pathways, biologics, and subspecialties. We are a GMC-recognized body for revalidation, providing annual appraisals for our consultants.
