Job Title: Associate Software Developer
Location: Portsmouth (HM Naval Base)
Service Area: Information Management and Technology Department
Hours of Work: 37 Per week
Salary: £31,000 – £35,000
What You’ll be doing as the Associate Software Developer:
You’ll join our Digital Solutions team, and be part of an Agile team, learning to build web applications and APIs whilst receiving mentorship and support from experienced developers.
You’ll Learn to develop and maintain web applications using JavaScript and other modern languages, contributing to Power Platform applications under guidance from senior team members. Writing clean, well-documented code, building RESTful APIs and understanding web fundamentals (HTTP, JSON, REST)
You’ll Have:
An understanding of HTTP, REST, JSON, and API design principles and basic experience with Azure Pipelines.
