Inclusion Support Assistant needed at Secondary School in Stretford
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join the Pastoral Team as an Inclusion Support Assistant at our client secondary school in Stretford. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of our students and contribute to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
The successful candidate would start from Thursday 5th September, and work full-time until the end of the school year (July 2025).
Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement strategies to promote inclusion and diversity within the school community.
* Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and external agencies to identify and address barriers to learning for students with special educational needs or disabilities (SEND).
* Monitor the progress of students with SEND, ensuring appropriate interventions are in place and their individual needs are met.
* Work closely with parents/carers to ensure effective communication and partnership in supporting students' well-being and academic progress.
* Keep up-to-date with current research, policies, and practices related to inclusion and SEND.
Requirements:
* Experience working with students with SEND.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with students, parents/carers and staff.
* Well-developed organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
* Commitment to continuous professional development and staying abreast of the latest research and developments in the field of inclusion and SEND.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
