Hybrid working options | Company car / car allowance | Attractive salary, bonus & benefits package This Business Line Manager role sits on the management team, reporting in to the GM. Youll be responsible for the P&L and for creating and implementing a sustainable sales & marketing strategy to maximise consolidated profitability and long term growth of the Power and Flow arm of the business, further strengthening the firms market position. Key Duties & Responsibilities Devise a sales & marketing strategy for Power and Flow current and future products Develop and implement a go-to-market strategy for a new product line of pumps Define an annual pricing strategy for direct and indirect channels, maintaining excellent price management in order to support profitable growth Discount control and promotional activities Build and develop the customer base in both direct and indirect sales channels though key accounts, distributors, and major users Ensure an optimised product mix, giving each product its best chance in the market Reduce and maintain outstanding debtor days to agreed levels Ensure solid product training is in place for all sales engineers, support personnel and distributors/dealers Attract, lead, develop, retain, and inspire a strong, top performing team for now and the future Skills & Experience Relevant University degree or the equivalent knowledge through experience Proven sales and management experience, with a competent level of technical knowledge in a related industry Results driven, with a good understanding of financials, including reporting and KPIs Strong communication skills and the ability to lead and influence a diverse range of people Must be based somewhere commutable to Portsmouth, where the companys office is located The Offer Salary: £70-75k + 20% annual bonus & benefits package Hybrid working options Training from day one, with at least 40 hours of training offered per year Excellent benefits package including a desirable pension scheme A satisfying career With a company thats passionate and committed to the development & progression of their employees A supportive working environment, within a collaborative team
