A great opportunity has arisen for a Band 4 Recovery Co-ordinator to join the BANES Recovery Service based at Bath NHS House. This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday, 9-5pm.
You will be joining a friendly, sociable, cohesive, and pro-active team and will be well supported by colleagues. We are an integrated team working closely with Local Authority partners, providing a good understanding of both health and social care.
The role focuses on supporting people with severe and enduring mental health needs, their carers (friends, relatives, caregivers), and supporters in the community. Your role will be to enable and assist them in meeting daily health, social care, and wellbeing needs, aligned with personal recovery goals, and to facilitate engagement with mainstream services.
The post holder will contribute to assessment, planning, delivery, and review of activities and interventions based on identified needs, acting as a care/recovery coordinator for an allocated group of service users. You will also undertake and deliver defined activities for a wider group, either on a one-to-one basis or as part of group activities. Some out-of-hours work may be required.
