Job Title: Business Analyst (Financial Services)
Contract Length: 4 months initially
Location: London/Hybrid working
Rate: £600pd Inside IR35 via umbrella company
We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst on a contract basis to support key initiatives within the insurance/reinsurance domain. This role will involve working closely with stakeholders across the business to gather requirements, analyse processes, and support improvements across the underwriting lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
* Gather, manage, and document business requirements clearly and effectively
* Develop use cases and support solution design
* Analyse business processes and identify opportunities for improvement
* Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, translating business needs into clear documentation
* Support initiatives across the end-to-end underwriting lifecycle
1. Skills & Experience Required:
* Previous experience in insurance, reinsurance, or the London market is essential
* Exposure to claims, underwriting, or operations is particularly desirable
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
* Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel
* Familiarity with policy administration systems
* Solid understanding of the end-to-end underwriting lifecycle
