A UK-based private finance team is seeking an experienced ABL Portfolio and Relationship Manager to join their team remotely. This role focuses on managing asset-based lending portfolios, overseeing client relationships, and supporting workout processes.
Candidate Profile
* Minimum 7 years of relevant experience, ideally in banking or asset-based lending
* Strong knowledge of collateral management and financial statement analysis
* Experience with liquid workouts; collectout experience is a plus
* Proven ability to manage client relationships and complex portfolios
* Strong analytical, communication, and decision-making skills
* Comfortable operating in a dynamic, remote, and entrepreneurial environment
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and monitor ABL portfolios, including risk assessment and covenant compliance
* Analyze financial statements, collateral positions, and client performance
* Lead and support liquid workouts and recovery processes
* Collaborate with internal teams to structure, execute, and oversee transactions
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with borrowers, intermediaries, and other stakeholders
* Provide insights and recommendations for portfolio optimization and risk mitigation
