We are looking for a skilled and motivated candidate to join us as a Welding Lecturer. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong industry experience who is ready to share their knowledge and help shape the future workforce.

In this role, you’ll deliver engaging and practical teaching to students aged 16 and over, primarily on Level 2 and 3 engineering programmes. Most sessions will take place in our welding workshop, where you’ll guide learners through a range of welding and fabrication techniques.

What you’ll bring:

* Proficiency in ARC, MIG, TIG, and Gas Welding processes.
* A relevant vocational qualification at Level 3 or above.
* A recognised teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one).
* Strong communication skills and the ability to support and challenge learners of all abilities.
* A flexible, proactive approach and a genuine interest in student development.
* Excellent organisational skills and a commitment to high standards in both teaching and administration.

This role would suit someone with a solid background in the welding and fabrication industry who is now looking to take on a new and rewarding challenge in education. You’ll be part of a supportive team and enjoy a varied workload in a forward-thinking college environment.

Status: Permanent

Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday – Friday with Flexibility to meet business needs.

Salary: Highly Competitive
