· Support occupational health programs, including health surveillance and return-to-work plans.

· Maintain and update EHS documentation, SOPs and training records.

· Promote a proactive safety culture through employee engagement and visible leadership.

· Support environmental monitoring and reporting (emissions, waste, water) and maintain ISO 14001 compliance.

· Liaise with regulators and ensure timely, accurate reporting.

· Participate in audits, support quality investigations and drive continuous improvement.

· Deliver EHS training and toolbox talks to increase awareness and accountability.

· Analyse EHS data to identify trends and reduce risk.

Creating Extraordinary Starts With:

· Degree (or equivalent) in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Chemistry or related field.

· NEBOSH General Certificate required; Diploma preferred.

· 3+ years’ experience in EHS within chemical or high-risk manufacturing.

· Strong knowledge of UK HSE legislation and ISO 14001/45001.

· Skilled in incident investigation and root cause analysis tools.

· Strong communicator able to engage and influence at all levels.

· COMAH site experience desirable.

· Proficiency with EHS software and reporting tools.

· Highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities.
