KWG220772 - Aberdeen City OOH Healthcare Support Workers. Aberdeen City Band 3 Healthcare Support Worker opportunities to join the Evening and Night Community Nursing Unscheduled Care Team. The Healthcare Support Worker will be responsible for supporting the delivery of a high standard of patient-centred care under the direction and support of the Nurse in Charge, and will be part of a team who predominately provide person-centred, end of life care and symptom control for patients in their own homes, enabling them to remain in their preferred place at end of life.

Responsibilities
* Support the delivery of high standard, patient-centred care under the direction of the Nurse in Charge.
* Work as part of a team providing person-centred, end-of-life care and symptom control for patients in their own homes.
* Assist patients to remain in their preferred place at end of life.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Current experience working as a Band 3 Health Care Support Worker in a Community or ward setting is essential.
* Successful candidates will have undertaken the Promoting Effective Medicines Administration Practice (PMAP) programme and achieved or be working towards achieving competency, particularly in relation to support of patients with enteral feeding in the Community.
* Car owner/driver and current UK driving licence is required. Car must be LEZ compliant.
* Hours: Various hours available between 1900 and 0800 within an 8 day rota; 2 shifts ON / 6 shifts OFF or 3 shifts ON / 5 shifts OFF.
* Location: Aberdeen Community Health and Care Village, White Zone, Frederick Street, Aberdeen AB24 5HY.
