Job Overview
A busy and growing fabrication unit in Bromsgrove is looking for an experienced MIG/TIG Welder Fabricator with strong pipe welding experience. The role involves working on a wide range of mild steel designs, with some stainless steel work. Ideal for a welder who takes pride in clean, high-quality finishes and enjoys working in a fast-paced, team environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Welding and fabricating mild steel pipe (3”–12” O/D, 6–10 mm wall thickness)
* Occasional stainless steel shell welding (8”–16” O/D, 10s wall thickness)
* Interpreting and working from engineering drawings
* Producing neat, aesthetically pleasing welds suitable for painting
* Maintaining high safety and quality standards
Requirements
* Strong MIG and TIG pipe welding experience
* Ability to read engineering and fabrication drawings
* High attention to detail and clean weld finishes
* Coded welding experience preferred (not essential)
* Safety-conscious and reliable team player
