The Specialist, Client Services is responsible for setting appointments within marketing campaigns and as directed supporting Principals (“Principals”) with follow-up and monitoring of all matters related to lead development and support, for prospects and clients. Incumbent is responsible for ensuring Principals’ client and prospect priorities are appropriately and timely handled, and they are kept proactively informed of status.
Location: Flexible. This role can be based near any Ryan office in the United States with a hybrid schedule of 2-3 days in office a week.

People:
11. Create a positive team member experience.
Client:
12. Understands service line offerings with sufficient depth to be able to discuss service line offerings with prospects.
13. Identifies, researches, and pursues prospects to generate new business for the Firm.
14. Identifies and pursues additional business with existing clients not currently engaged for Property Tax services.
15. Cold calls and maintains contact with prospects and clients through telephone and e-mail.
16. Attends internal client and prospect meetings with Principals as needed.

18. Compile information needed for client and prospect meetings.
19. Utilizes all available resources and data bases to research opportunities for prospects and clients and provide information for client pitches, meetings, proposals, and competitor analyses.
20. Compiles meeting notes, ensuring all commitments made, action items, and key points, are accurately and completely captured.
21. Follows up on all matters requiring attention, utilizing resources from across the organization to deliver desired outcomes.
22. Seeks and maintains awareness of client and prospect priorities of highest importance to the Client Service Principals and ensures they are given appropriate attention.
23. Coordinates with the Principal regarding their targets and develops/recommends customer-specific solutions for needs identified by the Client Service Principals.
24. Provides support in negotiations, contract development, and due diligence.
25. Researches, identifies, qualifies, and targets potential clients, and develops access strategy to initiate contacts.
26. Maintains market awareness of industry and clients, as well as benchmarking and competitive information inclusive of tax/geography/industry-specific issues.
27. Maintains familiarity with Ryan organizational structure, practice and support areas, and related personnel. Develops solid working relationships with key groups and staff.
28. Escalates client and prospect-related issues to the Principal, when necessary.
29. Maintains connectivity to e-mail and voice mail on-going to monitor issues that require immediate attention.
30. Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
31. Bachelor’s or advanced degree in business, accounting, finance, sales, marketing, or communication preferred.
32. Two or more years solution-based selling, business development support, and/or client service experience.
33. Must have basic skills in Microsoft® Excel and Access, intermediate skills in Microsoft® Outlook, and advanced skills in Microsoft® Word, CRM (or similar client relationship management or sales management tool), and Internet navigation and research.
34. Experience leveraging social media sites.
35. Valid driver’s license
36. Occasional non-standard working hours and overtime
37. Experience with confidential and proprietary information
Computer Skills:
38. To perform this job successfully, an individual must have intermediate skills in Microsoft® Word, Access, Excel, Outlook, Salesforce CRM, and Internet navigation and research.
Certificates and Licenses:
39. Valid driver’s license required.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
40. This position requires no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment:
41. Standard indoor working environment.
42. Occasional long periods of sitting while working at computer.
43. Position requires regular interaction with employees at all levels of the Firm; interface with clients and external vendors as necessary.
44. Independent travel requirement: 0 to 10%.
45. 40+ hour standard workweek requirement.
