Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. Responsibilities
* Safely operate a delivery vehicle, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations.
* Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
* Load and unload goods, performing heavy lifting as required.
* Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including documentation of any damages or discrepancies.
* Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
* Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure efficient loading and unloading processes.
* Provide exceptional customer service during all interactions, representing the company positively.
Requirements
* Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record; experience as a van driver is preferred.
* Car/Motorcycle/Moped to use on job
* Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a warehouse environment is advantageous.
* Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks throughout the day.
* Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
* Familiarity with commercial driving practices and safety regulations.
* A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and time management skills are essential.
