Light workload : 1 drop on Class 1 vehicles, container deliveries but no container experience needed Containers: No unloading/loading, drivers just have to drive Competitive pay : £17ph Free parking : Convenient access to the depot Supportive environment : be part of a team that values and supports its drivers Valuable experience : delivering solar panels to site and back each day Your role as an hgv class 1 driver Efficient & safe deliveries : ensure timely, accurate deliveries while adhering to safety regulations. Communication : keep in regular contact with the depot and clients to ensure smooth operations. Requirements A minimum of 6 months experience as an hgv class 1 driver. Full in-date CPC, tachograph card, and driving licence. Must have held a HGV Class 1 Driver licence for at least 2 years Good attention to detail. A positive attitude, flexibility, and confidence on the road. No more than 6 penalty points on your licence. Knowledgeable of driving hours and tachograph rules and regulations. Pay & benefits £17.00 per hour (Monday to Friday) holiday entitlement. Ongoing role : secure long-term employment after a successful probationary period. Free parking at the depot. 10 hour shifts typically. 5 shifts per week with an opportunity for ongoing work. Occasional weekend shifts available for those interested in extra hours.
