Main duties of the job
* Build on your existing skill set in a nurse-led environment, developing complex decision making and collaborative skills.
* Provide person-centred care for residents at vulnerable times, guiding them through life‑changing decisions.
* Mentor and share knowledge with colleagues, supporting students as a practice supervisor and assessor.
* Demonstrate effective communication (verbal and written) and model professional behaviours.
* Advocate and deliver person‑centred care for residents and their families.
* Recognise and act on safeguarding concerns, reporting and escalating as necessary.
* Maintain a commitment to the NMC standards of practice and professional conduct.

Job responsibilities
As a newly qualified nurse you will join our Gold Standard Nursing Preceptorship Programme. You will be supported to grow your career with an experienced HC‑One nurse who will guide you to gain confidence and competence to help residents lead their best lives.
