Key Stage 1 Teacher (Part Time, Temporary)

£600 - £1192.95 per week (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications )
December 2025 – July 2026
The School and Role
We are looking for an experienced Key Stage 1 Teacher to work in a friendly primary school in Stanley, DH9. Working as part of an established team, the desired Key Stage 1 Teacher will be teaching Year 2. Some of the children have SEND and are working at a lower ability. The role would be Monday to Thursday AM sessions only, to cover a maternity leave. The school has a supportive senior leadership team and can be accessed on public transport.
Requirements
The desired Key Stage 1 Teacher will have;
1. Experience of working with primary school aged children
2. Experience of working with pupils with SEND
3. A passion for the progress of primary school pupils
4. An ability to work as part of a team
5. QTS within the UK
