About the Role:We are currently seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Secondary School Teachers to work across a range of partnered secondary schools in Rotherham. This is an excellent opportunity for qualified teachers looking for flexible work, whether you prefer day-to-day supply, short-term cover, or longer-term placements.
You will have the chance to teach across a variety of subjects, gaining valuable experience in different school settings while making a positive impact on students' education.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the national curriculum
* Adapt quickly to different school environments and classroom settings
* Manage classroom behaviour in accordance with school policies
* Provide a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
* Mark and assess student work where required
* Follow lesson plans provided or create your own where necessary
* Liaise with school staff to ensure continuity of learning
* Uphold safeguarding policies and procedures at all times
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Experience teaching in UK secondary schools
* Strong classroom management skills
* Flexibility and willingness to work across different schools and subjects
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* A proactive and professional approach to teaching
* Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
* Right to work in the UK
