The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and resilient Pastoral Support Worker to join a welcoming school in Bradford. Requirements
* Previous experience in a pastoral or support role within a school or similar setting.
* A genuine passion for supporting the social, emotional, and academic development of young people.
* An enhanced DBS check on the Update Service, or the willingness to apply for one.
* Eligibility to work in the UK.

Responsibilities
* Providing one-to-one and small group support to students with social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties.
* Monitoring student attendance and punctuality, implementing strategies to improve them.
* Acting as a key point of contact for students, parents, and teachers regarding pastoral concerns.
* Liaising with external agencies, such as social services, to ensure students receive appropriate support.
* Implementing and monitoring individual support plans for vulnerable students.
* Delivering targeted interventions and workshops on topics such as resilience, anxiety, and self-esteem.
* Maintaining accurate and confidential records of student interactions and support provided.
* Contributing to the school's positive behaviour management system.
* Attending and contributing to pastoral and safeguarding meetings.
* Promoting a positive and inclusive school culture where every student feels valued and supported.
