Job Title: Learning Support Assistant

Leader Education are recruiting a Learning Support Assistant to join a SEND school in Yorkshire, supporting pupils aged 3 to 11 with a range of specific learning difficulties.
Knowledge of EHCPs and relevant transferable skills is preferred.
Ofsted has recognised the school for its caring and supportive staff, who work collaboratively across both sites to provide high-quality learning experiences within a warm, welcoming, and inspiring environment.
The normal working pattern is Monday-Friday 8:30 until 15:30 and is a long-term position.
The successful candidate will:
* Have a fully enhanced DBS on the update system or a willingness to obtain one
* Have relevant experience – with SEND or vulnerable individuals
* Establish a supportive and consistent relationship, promoting a positive learning experience
* Develop a knowledge and understanding of the academic, emotional, and behavioural needs of the child and respond to these effectively
* Be flexible and resilient
* Possess good classroom skills
