At least 2 years relevant experience (can include work placement 1 year in industry for example) CAD proficiency (Solidworks essential, Fusion 360 beneficial) Relevant industry experience (work in industry, placement, or substantial project work) Ability to read/create engineering drawings and maintain bill of materials Demonstrated practical aptitude, such as hands-on skills within an engineering workshop (can be student projects / placement experience / personal hobbies) Competent in creating spreadsheets, word-processed documents and creating presentations Basic electronics and programming knowledge
