Business Development Manager
Hybrid (Office + Events) | Full-time | Sales | £32,000 base + bonus
Were hiring an experienced Business Development Manager to join the team behind a respected portfolio of live events. This is a hybrid role with a strong in-person element youll be part of a close-knit, collaborative team and regularly attend our events to meet clients face-to-face.
Key Responsibilities:
* Generate new business through outbound sales activity across phone, email, and LinkedIn
* Sell sponsorship packages and delegate places for a calendar of B2B events
* Build and manage a healthy pipeline using the company CRM
* Pitch to senior stakeholders in both the public and private sectors
* Work closely with colleagues across sales, marketing, and delivery
* Attend and represent the brand at live events across the UK
What We're Looking For:
* Proven track record in B2B sales, ideally in events or a related sector
* Confident communicator with strong presentation and negotiation skills
* Comfortable building rapport quickly, both online and in person
* Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
* A proactive team player who thrives in a collaborative environment
* Familiar with using CRM systems to manage sales activity
