Job Description: Business Development Manager
To £46,000 + performance based bonus, company car, or car allowance, 25 days holiday, laptop, mobile.
While you will be given a small number of customers to manage, the focus of this role is to expand the number of stockists of this companys fantastic range of garden sheds, summerhouses, greenhouses and buildings. They have a target list of prospect accounts and you will have the full support of the UK head office to access sales and marketing resources.
Key responsibilities will include:
1. Work with the Sales Manager and existing stockists to understand the sales proposition.
2. Follow leads to secure appointments with buyers.
3. Approach new prospects and make new contacts.
4. Establish needs and present the benefits of stocking the range.
5. Secure orders and manage the process of in-store set up.
6. Attend trade shows and events (e.g. GLEE).
