Are you passionate about inspiring the next generation of hair professionals?
We’re looking for a Lecturer in Hair to join our Lifestyle department and help shape the future of hairdressing education. This is an exciting opportunity to combine your industry experience with teaching, mentoring and programme leadership, delivering outstanding education across our Hairdressing courses from Levels 1 to 3.
Whether you're an experienced tutor or currently working in industry and looking to step into teaching, we’d love to hear from you.
You will:
1. Deliver engaging, high-quality practical and theoretical sessions across Level 2 and Level 3 VTCT Women’s Hairdressing qualifications
2. Support learners in achieving qualifications that reflect current industry standards and practices
3. Contribute to the delivery of Level 2 Hair Professional Apprenticeships – knowledge in this area would be highly advantageous
4. Potentially deliver units on our Level 4 Salon Management qualification, depending on experience
5. Provide effective teaching, assessment, and feedback across all modes of study
6. Work collaboratively with colleagues to continually enhance the learner experience
7. Maintain accurate records, monitor progress, and contribute to continuous quality improvement
8. Lead on course planning, delivery, and programme management as required
You will need:
9. Hold a minimum Level 3 qualification in Hairdressing
10. Be comfortable delivering both practical and theoretical elements of VTCT L2 & L3 qualifications
11. Be working towards or willing to obtain a teaching qualification (if not already held)
