Plymouth Community Homes
Executive Director of Place
Location: Plymouth
Salary: Circa £180k including car allowance, plus excellent pension and additional benefits
Plymouth Community Homes (PCH) is Plymouth’s largest social housing landlord, with over 16,000 properties providing homes for more than 35,000 people. We’re proud of our strong performance and ambitious about our future, with a bold vision for growth, regeneration, and sustainability - underpinned by our values: we care, respect, listen, and do the right thing.
This is a rare opportunity to shape the future of housing and communities in one of the UK’s most dynamic cities. By delivering 300 homes a year, PCH will play a critical role in meeting the growing housing demand driven by major economic investment in the region, including an additional £4.4bn from the MoD over the next ten years.
The Executive Director of Place is a newly created role, responsible for our strategic investment in new supply, regeneration, and asset improvement - ensuring we create places where people truly want to live.
Bringing together development, regeneration, and asset investment into a single, place-based strategy, you’ll work closely with residents, local authorities, and partners like Homes England to deliver thriving, sustainable communities.
We are seeking a visionary leader with a strong track record in development and regeneration, in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment. Experienced at a senior level, reporting to Board, you’ll bring a deep understanding of estate planning, development delivery, strategic asset management and stakeholder engagement. Due to the breadth of the role, it’s essential that you bring the strategic capability to lead and inspire skilled teams whilst also partnering and building excellent relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
We are a committed Equal Opportunities and Disability Confident employer and welcome applications from talented people from all backgrounds. Please let us know if you need any assistance or flexibility in your interview or the role when you apply.
