SEMH Specialist - Early Years - September - WA10 Milk Education are recruiting for a purpose-driven, ambitious SEMH Specialist for early years to join an exceptional and nurturing mainstream primary school in St Helens (WA10). This is a full time role starting in September and can turn into a permenant role. The children are nursery and reception age. There are a variety of complex needs such as ASD, ADHD and global development delay (GDD). You’ll be joining an inclusive and supportive school, focused on diversity and promoting a loving environment for those with additional needs. This is an exciting role for an experienced educator to join a fantastic school to support pupils in reaching their potential! Early Years SEN Specialist Role & Responsibilities: * Support 1:1 and small groups with children with SEN in an early years class. * Support with the children’s behaviour in & outside the classroom. * Provide general support for students with additional learning needs, both inside and outside the classroom * Support students in developing skills for independent learning and personal growth. * Assist in the preparation and adaptation of learning resources and materials. * Work closely with teachers to monitor and assess students’ progress, offering feedback and suggestions where necessary.
