Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Product Onboarding Manager to join our Client Service Operations team at L&G. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless onboarding of new fund mandates and managing account change events. What you’ll be doing:
1. Coordinating the end-to-end onboarding of new fund mandates across the business
2. Managing account change events and providing strategic support to the team
3. Engaging with key stakeholders to enhance and create efficiencies in processes
4. Preparing legal and operational groundwork for implementing changes to existing fund mandates
5. Project and time managing client/product work to achieve funding objectives efficiently
6. Providing final quality checks on legal documentation in line with fund requirements
7. Acting as an internal onboarding consultant to Distribution and Product teams
8. Communicating effectively on the progress of onboarding work and holding regular working group meetings
Qualifications
Who we’re looking for:
1. Strong academic background with a degree (preferably 2.1) or equivalent
2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
3. Thorough understanding of FSA regulations and internal governance frameworks
4. Demonstrable track record of project management success within an asset management environment
5. Strong product, strategy, and derivatives knowledge
6. Experience within the investment management industry, providing exceptional client service
7. Ability to build significant relationships with external contacts up to senior levels
8. Highly organised and proactive with the ability to work effectively under pressure
