The Role of Event Manager/Director
* Working closely with the European MD (UK based) to develop launch plans
* Talking with/meeting potential exhibitors and sponsors in Italy
* Helping shape the exhibition and seminar programme
* Exploring a possible awards launch
* Flexibility on location/working remotely (Could be based in the UK or Italy)
* As you get closer to the launch it would be 1 day a week in Brighton
* Happy to look at salary or consultancy on a day rate
* Initially a 3 month contract which would hopefully lead to a permanent role
The Person for the Event Manager/Director Role
* Native Italian or fluent business Italian speaker
* Entrepreneurial
* Good understanding of exhibitions
* Launch experience
* Strategic thinker
* Good new business skills and can close deals
* Excellent presenter
* Collaborative team player
* Happy to travel
