Quality Engineer - Ballymoney - Permanent

1. From £29,000 to £39,000 per annum
2. Monday to Thursday
3. 39 hours per week

What you will be doing in this role:
5. Provide quality support to customers and internal production teams
6. Manage product approval activities, including FAIR validation and internal audits
7. Identify and implement corrective and preventive actions for quality issues
8. Oversee the Material Review Board (MRB) process for returned goods
9. Carry out product and process audits to maintain compliance
10. Contribute to New Product and Process Development (NPPD)
11. Ensure products meet quality sign-off and introduce containment for non-conformances
12. Work cross-functionally with internal teams and suppliers to drive quality improvements
What you’ll need for this role:
13. Minimum of 2 years' experience in a quality role within manufacturing
14. Ability to interpret engineering drawings and weld symbols
15. Experience in machining, fabrication, assembly, or paint shop environments
16. Knowledge of quality procedures and strong problem-solving skills
17. Understanding of statistical fault-finding techniques
18. Proficient in Microsoft Office
19. Excellent written and verbal communication
