About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Project Manager / Associate with a strong engineering background to lead and manage complex projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing multi-disciplinary engineering projects.
As a Senior PM / Associate, you will take ownership of projects from inception to completion, manage client relationships, mentor junior staff, and contribute to the growth and strategic direction of the business.
Core Responsibilities
* Lead a team of engineers and technicians.
* Assist the Head of Department in business development and financial management.
* Plan, organise, and direct activities concerning the delivery of infrastructure projects.
* Facilitate coordination amongst a multi-disciplinary team.
* Manage communications with all project stakeholders.
* Prepare and manage the project programmes.
* Tender for new work, including drafting fee proposals.
* Manage the contractual and commercial aspects of the project.
* Comply with best practice for all Health & Safety aspects in line with company policies.
* Contribute to business development and strategic planning initiatives.
* Maintain a culture of continuous improvements across all aspects of the working environment and projects.
Qualifications and Experience
* Chartered or near-chartered engineering degree.
* Strong knowledge of design standards, construction methods, and relevant legislation.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to develop and understand programmes (e.g. Microsoft Project).
* Experience in managing multiple engineering projects simultaneously.
* Excellent clear and concise communication skills and the ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural team.
* Agile and “Can Do” mindset.
