Bricklaying Site Supervisor – Temporary Contract
Location: Stourbridge
Duration: 3 Months Minimum (Potential for Long-Term Work)
Rate: Negotiable (DOE)
The Opportunity
A well-established main contractor is seeking an experienced Bricklaying Site Supervisor to oversee the brickwork package on a large new build care home project in Stourbridge. This is an initial 3-month contract with strong potential for long-term work, as successful delivery will lead to opportunities on future projects.
The Role
You will be responsible for managing the brickwork subcontractor and ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to the required quality standards. This is a key position on site, working closely with the site management team to maintain programme and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervising bricklaying subcontractors on site
* Ensuring work is completed to programme and quality standards
* Coordinating deliveries and managing materials
* Monitoring productivity and resolving site issues
* Conducting quality checks and inspections
* Liaising with the Site Manager and wider project team
* Ensuring health & safety compliance at all times
* Maintaining site records and reporting progress
Requirements
* Proven experience supervising brickwork packages on large projects
* Strong background in bricklaying (trade or supervision)
* Experience working for main contractors preferred
* Good communication and leadership skills
* SMSTS or SSSTS preferred
* CSCS Card required
